Ricotta Flapjacks to impress bae this Valentines (or any) weekend!

This recipe is super simple to follow and pretty flop proof!


- 1 tub (about 250g) of ricotta cheese (the weight may vary slightly depending on what brand you buy - this wont affect your recipe much.)

- 1 egg

- 260ml milk

- 50g butter (melted before adding to mixture)

- 1 Cup of flour

- 1 tsp bicarb of soda


- 1 Tbsp sugar (for sweeter flapjacks)

- Fresh blueberries

- Chocolate Chips

- Crushed nuts

Combine all the ingredients into a mixing bowl, as shown in the video, and whisk until incorporated.

Place a greased, non-stick pan over medium heat. Spoon the batter into the pan and cook until little bubbles start to appear and your spatula slides easily underneath the flapjack. Flip over and cook the other side.

Place flapjacks onto a serving plate and top with whatever yummy goodies your heart desires -think maple syrup and chocolate chips, or fresh berries and mascarpone.

Best served warm.
